Permanent Jewelry Terms, Policies, and Aftercare
Welcome to TPAIGE Jewelry. By scheduling an appointment and receiving services from us, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Overview
Permanent jewelry involves the application of jewelry using a welding process to create a clasp-less, continuous piece (e.g., bracelet, anklet, necklace). This is a cosmetic/aesthetic service, and the jewelry is intended to remain on unless deliberately cut or removed.
2. Eligibility for Services
Age Requirements: Clients must be at least 18 years old to receive permanent jewelry without parental consent. Minors under 18 years of age may receive services with written or verbal consent from a parent or legal guardian, who must also be present during the procedure.
Health Conditions: Clients with skin sensitivities, allergies to metals such as solid gold, 925 sterling silver, gold-filled and its base metals, or medical conditions that could be impacted by the welding process should disclose this information prior to the appointment. We reserve the right to refuse service if it may pose a health risk.
3. Booking Appointment, Rescheduling, and Cancellation Policy
Appointments: Appointments can be made online. All appointments require a non-refundable deposit of $25 per person at the time of booking to secure your appointment, which will be applied to the final service cost. Appointments must be scheduled at least one day in advance to ensure availability.
Rescheduling: Clients may reschedule appointments up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without penalty. Rescheduling within 24 hours may result in forfeiting the deposit.
Late Arrivals: If you arrive 15 minutes late to your appointment, we may need to reschedule and a rebooking fee may apply.
Cancellations: No-shows and late cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will result in forfeiting the deposit.
4. Payment Terms
Payment Methods: We accept payments via Credit/Debit Card, Interact e-transfer or Cash. Full payment is due at the time of service. The deposit will be credited toward the final balance.
Refund Policy: All sales are final. Once the service has been completed, no refunds or exchanges will be provided. In cases of defective jewelry, we will offer repair free of charge within 30 days from the date of service.
5. Jewelry Materials and Warranty
Materials Used: We use high-quality materials including 14k Solid Gold, 925 Sterling Silver, and Gold-filled. Clients will be informed about the type of material used prior to the procedure. Please notify us of any allergies.
Warranty: We offer a 30-day warranty ("warranty period") on all permanent jewelry. This warranty covers issues such as breakage due to material defects. It does not cover accidental damage, loss, or misuse of the jewelry. Beyond the warranty period, repairs may incur additional charges.
6. Allergy Concerns
If you have a metal allergy or sensitivity, please inform us prior to your appointment. We offer hypoallergenic metals for those with sensitive skin. However, we do not offer refunds for allergic reactions after the jewelry has been welded.
7. Health and Safety Policy
All tools and equipment are sanitized between each client to maintain the highest standards of hygiene. Clients must notify us of any known allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to the welding process. We reserve the right to refuse service to clients who we believe may be at risk of adverse health effects from the procedure.
8. Aftercare Policy
Aftercare: Permanent jewelry requires minimal aftercare, but it is important to avoid activities or substances that may cause damage, such as harsh chemicals (e.g., chlorine), excessive pulling, or strenuous activities that may compromise the jewelry’s integrity.
Removal: If you decide to remove the jewelry, it can be safely cut off at home or you can come back to us. We do not offer refunds or free replacements for jewelry that has been removed.
9. Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for the care and maintenance of their permanent jewelry. Any damage caused by negligence, misuse, or lack of care is not covered by warranty. Clients should avoid exposure to harsh chemicals, extreme heat, and strenuous activities that could potentially damage the jewelry.
10. Liability
By receiving services from TPAIGE Jewelry, you acknowledge that permanent jewelry involves minor risks, including but not limited to discomfort, burns, allergic reactions, or skin irritation. We are not liable for any injury, health complications, or damage that may result from the welding process or improper aftercare. All services are performed at your own risk.
Don’t forget to read and sign the waiver before coming to your appointment.
11. Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any personal information provided during the appointment booking and service process.
Data Collection: We collect personal information to facilitate appointments and ensure the safety of our services. This includes client name, contact details, and any medical disclosures related to allergies or conditions to ensure safe and effective service. This data will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.
Photography Consent: With your consent, we may take and use photographs of your jewelry for marketing purposes (e.g., social media, website, advertising). You may opt out of this at any time.
12. Repair, Warranty, and Adjustment Policy
Repairs: We understand that accidents happen! If your permanent jewelry breaks or needs an adjustment within 30-days ("free-repair period") of your service, we offer a complimentary repair.
If your jewelry becomes damaged within the free-repair period, we will offer free repairs. For issues occurring after the warranty period or due to accidental damage, repair services may be available based on the extent of the work needed for an additional fee.
Sizing and Fit Adjustments: Our permanent jewelry is custom-sized for your comfort. However, if you experience discomfort or require a fit adjustment within 7 days of your appointment, we are happy to adjust the fit at no extra charge. After 7 days, we offer size adjustments for additional fee.
Jewelry Warranty: Permanent jewelry comes with a 30-day warranty for breakage due to material defects. This does not cover accidental damage, misuse, or removal of the jewelry. Beyond the warranty period, repairs can be made for an additional fee.
13. Return Policy
No Returns or Exchanges: Due to the custom and personalized nature of permanent jewelry, we do not accept returns or exchanges once the jewelry has been welded. Please ensure you are satisfied with your selection and fit before the final welding process. In the event of a defect, we will repair the jewelry free of charge within the warranty period.
14. Changes to Terms and Conditions
TPAIGE Jewelry reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website or providing notice to clients. It is the client’s responsibility to review the terms periodically for any updates.
